Thanks to Park over at Hightopfade I knew about this car show far in advance. A short drive on the highway from Osaka followed by some crafty navigating through Kyoto brought me to the beautiful Takao Parkway. A bit expensive at around $14 to drive on a 10 mile road but the show was free so it evens out I suppose. I had never been to a kyusha event so I think this was a great way to start my way down the old school road.
I am such a sucker for old Skylines....

This thing was my favorite from the day. Ridiculously low and not in the best condition-
The owner on the left there is quite a riot and with the smile on his face the whole day you can see that he enjoys his car-
A lot of owners take the period correctness of their car very seriously-
Craziest Century I have ever seen. I was a little disappointed to find out it isn't driven like this after seeing the lower body parts taken off before being loaded onto a trailer-
I thought this was the only true GTR I would see that day but I was wrong-
